Electrical isolation
Adds a thin dielectric interface around compact electrical and electronic features.
ATR-PIA SERIES · SILICONE-FREE ADHESIVE SYSTEM
Amber polyimide film with heat-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive for thin electrical insulation, stable securing and precision converting.

01 · THE MATERIAL SYSTEM
ATR-PIA combines a thin polyimide carrier with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive where electrical insulation, dimensional control and silicone-free processing are important.
The film contributes the dielectric and mechanical barrier. The acrylic adhesive supports stable contact on clean, compatible surfaces. Temporary removal is process-dependent and must not be assumed from the backing alone.
02 · PERFORMANCE IN CONTEXT
Adds a thin dielectric interface around compact electrical and electronic features.
Helps address processes where silicone contamination must be reduced or avoided.
Acrylic PSA supports securing on prepared, compatible surfaces.
Polyimide contributes tensile, puncture and dimensional stability with limited bulk.
The stable film construction supports narrow slitting, laminating and die-cut presentation.
03 · APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
Representative tasks are drawn from the supplied product documentation. They identify the tape role without prescribing a universal customer construction.

Provides a thin insulating and securing interface within a validated winding construction.

Protects selected contact regions during an approved process profile; temperature, dwell and removal require verification.

Supports local insulation and securing without prescribing a universal winding method.

Creates a thin insulating barrier at selected tabs, edges or cell interfaces after pack-level validation.
Adhesion, removability and electrical suitability must be verified on the actual substrate and intended time-temperature profile.
04 · TAPE CONSTRUCTION
The primary construction is polyimide film plus heat-resistant acrylic PSA. An optional liner may be used for converting and automated placement.
Illustration is enlarged for identification and does not represent actual layer-thickness ratio.

05 · SELECTION CONTEXT
