Masking definition
Stable PET helps create clean boundaries around edges, holes and contact areas.
ATR-PET-S SERIES · TEMPORARY PROCESS TAPE
Dimensionally stable polyester film with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive for controlled masking, surface protection and converted process masks.

01 · THE MATERIAL SYSTEM
ATR-PET-S uses stable PET film to create clean masking boundaries while the silicone adhesive maintains temporary contact through a validated process cycle.
The construction is intended for temporary process protection—not as a universal high-temperature electrical tape. Substrate chemistry, peak temperature, dwell, cooling and removal method are evaluated together.
02 · PERFORMANCE IN CONTEXT
Stable PET helps create clean boundaries around edges, holes and contact areas.
Silicone PSA supports defined elevated-temperature cycles after validation.
The film barrier shields selected regions during coating or treatment.
Removal behaviour depends on substrate, chemistry, dwell and cooling condition.
Dimensional stability supports discs, frames and custom masks for repeatable placement.
03 · APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
Representative tasks are drawn from the supplied product documentation. They identify the tape role without prescribing a universal customer construction.

Defines selected faces, edges and openings during approved coating or finishing cycles.

Temporarily covers selected contact regions within a separately confirmed soldering or assembly profile.

Protects selected interfaces from handling or process exposure after compatibility review.

Supports local holding or protection during a defined production step; it does not define the final insulation system.
Coating chemistry, soldering profile, substrate and removal conditions must be confirmed for the selected grade.
04 · TAPE CONSTRUCTION
PET film provides a tough, dimensionally stable masking carrier. Silicone PSA supplies temporary contact during the approved process window.
Illustration is enlarged for identification and does not represent actual layer-thickness ratio.

05 · SELECTION CONTEXT
