01 · THE MATERIAL SYSTEM

PTFE surface behaviour with a reinforced woven carrier.

ATR-TF-QH combines a PTFE-coated glass-fabric backing with silicone PSA for process interfaces that need both non-stick performance and mechanical reinforcement.

The woven carrier gives the tape more body and abrasion resistance than a pure film construction. The coated face manages release and friction, while the adhesive secures the material to the selected machine or contact surface.

02 · PERFORMANCE IN CONTEXT

What this construction helps an engineer control.

01

Reinforced carrier

Glass fabric adds tensile support and dimensional stability at demanding contact zones.

02

Non-stick surface

The PTFE coating helps control sticking on validated sealing and processing equipment.

03

Low-friction lining

The coated face can reduce drag in compatible hoppers, chutes and guides.

04

Abrasion resistance

The woven construction supports longer service at mechanically active interfaces.

05

Heat-resistant contact

Silicone PSA maintains placement through the approved temperature and dwell profile.

03 · APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

See the tape at its functional interface.

Representative tasks are drawn from the supplied product documentation. They identify the tape role without prescribing a universal customer construction.

Reinforced contact-surface covering

Protects selected sealing bars and contact regions with a durable, replaceable non-stick layer.

MATERIAL HANDLING

Hopper and chute lining

Creates a low-friction lining on selected flow surfaces where sticking and abrasion must be controlled.

Cycle count, pressure, temperature, substrate and any food-contact requirement must be validated separately.

04 · TAPE CONSTRUCTION

Backing and adhesive designed as one system.

A woven glass-fabric reinforcement is coated with PTFE to form the functional surface; silicone PSA secures the composite to the approved substrate.
